Look into the chaotic and frankly alarming mind of a 19 year old writer.
Just don't look too closely.

I am a 17 year old student at Sixth Form. For those who don't know what this is, just imagine going to school for an extra two years after you leave. Like college, but not. Simple!
I live in Derby, UK.
I want to be a writer, so tell me what you think by E-mailing me.
Plus, get in contact! "Tag" a message onto the board.

I know that this is my third blog in about one and a half days, but I don’t have much else to do so I might as well talk rubbish to the world’s Internet geeks, I mean technological explorers.
It’s that time again! Yes that’s right – another I’m reading War and Peace update! Yesterday night I finally bothered to read some of the book. I should point out that I was already on about page 960, so it was hardly like I hadn’t started. However, I did finish the second section of the third book, so I'm quite pleased. Yes I know it’s sad, but at least I don’t regularly tell complete strangers all my thoughts and actions for no obvious reason. Oh, wait…
Come again soon for another I’m reading War and Peace update!
In other news, my 15 year old (and thus younger) brother, who by the way is also my only sibling, today accused me of being constantly grumpy and bad tempered – or at least for 99.9% of the time. He then promptly fell into the most astonishing tantrum, which has left me, much like all those poor Baghdad citizens, hearing large thuds on a regular basis. In this case though, the noises come from my brother’s room. In case you’re wondering what caused him to make such shocking accusations, I had complained when he started reading what I was typing into an instant messenger box. Case closed.
I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking, “please tell us more of your petty domestic arguments, because we have nothing better to do than listen to the details of such events.” Well I'm sorry to disappoint, but that is enough for today.
As I’m sure you were, I was devastated to hear that floppy disks are being scrapped. The latest Dell computers do not include drives for the magical boxes of storage. Granted, they do store about as much information as the back of a beer mat, take as much time to load or save as my Grandma does crossing the road, and are as vulnerable to viruses as the other, erm, floppy. In fact, now I think of it, I'm glad the suckers are going! However, as a BBC website article suggests, there are thousands of double entendres that will die with the floppy. Sure, there are a few incidents when the floppy provides useful conversational resources, but are we really so sad that we still need them? I personally rarely use a floppy joke, but that may be because one of my fellow students is learning the saxophone. Nuff said.
By the way, I know that a time is always put next to my name when I post, but don’t let that deceive you. As I write it is approximately 21:55, although I dread to think what the time will say. Actually, I don’t dread it. That would be rather a sad thing to dread, don’t you think?
Don’t forget, if you are enjoying this blog – and you never know, strange things happen – then get in touch. My E-mail link can now be found on the left margin, which I worked out how to use today. If you can't find it, click here. You see, that is the only way for me to know that you have visited. For all I know, I’m talking to nobody. Now there’s a familiar feeling.
As a final thought today, I wonder what music you the discerning reader enjoy. I am currently being treated to the tunes of Coldplay, sounding as usual like the final words of a man on death row. Don’t get me wrong; I want to like Coldplay. They write their own music, play their own instruments and, as far as I know, sing their own songs. But they are just so depressing.
If you are an avid Coldplay fan, then welcome! I was just talking about that fantastic group of guys who call themselves Coldplay. What wonderful people they are. They are so great… oh you’ve already left.
Listening to Coldplay has made me curiously sleepy. Thus I shall call it a day here in Blog land. As I said, feel free to contact me about anything.
Seeya soon
